Allplan Architecture, the object oriented 3D-design software for
architects, which covers all phases of a CAD system – from 2D design to
3D modeling through to the virtual building model. Allplan offers you
the freedom to design, yet provides countless other design options as
well.
Allplan Architecture efficiently supports you from presentation of the
initial draft to application and construction cost planning right
through to working and detailed drawings. Allplan compromises a full
range of tools for design, layout and visualization. From interactive
design control through to high-end rendering, you have got the entire
value creation chain of your design office covered.

Allplan enables you to create an intelligent building model from which
you can derive automatic and consistent sections and views, as well as
area and quantity calculations. Allplan Architecture’s object-oriented
CAD design also provides extraordinary building cost transparency
throughout the whole of the project.

Allplan 2011 Architecture supports more than 50 file formats, including
the DWG format for AutoCAD 2010/2011. Furthermore, the IFC interface has
also been improved. Thanks to extended default settings, it is possible
to specify individually which elements should be transferred.
Furthermore, the new version of Allplan supports the STL and SKP file
formats. With these formats, 3D models can be produced using 3D printers
or directly transferred into Google SketchUp or Google Earth.

With the 2011 version, designers have access to a wide range of new CAD
objects and textures optimized for Allplan in order to help them create
attractive designs and models. From the basic range of content available
to all users of Allplan, through to the libraries reserved especially
for Serviceplus customers, you can search for predefined CAD data online
and simply download and install it. Furthermore, all objects are
assigned a country code, thus also enabling targeted searches for
international projects.
